Welcome to the best water fall along the southern Maine coastline! An easy stop just minutes from downtown Old Orchard Beach. Cascade Falls, sometimes called Cascade Brook Falls, is tucked down in a pretty ravine and is unknown to most of the masses that are headed to the beach. The Falls is a bit seasonal, so visit during the spring snow melt or after heavy rains. The Falls is likely to be dry or very close to it during the summer beach season. The good news is that the Falls is still pretty even under low water conditions. Anytime after a recent rain shower is a great time to visit. Free designated parking is available and the falls are close to the parking area. No more than 30-40 yards. Hint: remember to take the path to the right and taking mosquito spray just in case is recommended, too, as the falls are in a cool, shady area.
The Cascade Water Falls is located on the Cascade Road, Saco, less than 1/4 mile from US Rt. 1. Get there by turning right at the Top’O The Hill, downtown OOB. Stay on that road for approximately 3.5 miles. Cascade Falls will be on your right prior to US Rt. 1.
